The government of Andhra Pradesh has released the examination pattern for DSC 2018. There will be one of the examinations named School Assistant. School Assistant will be for a person who intends to be a teacher for class VI to X. The details of the scheme of exam and syllabus for School Assistant are as follows.

The Syllabus for the post of School Assistants of Mathematics, Physical Science, Biological Science, Social Studies, Telugu, Urdu, Hindi, English, Kannada, Odiya, Tamil, and Sanskrit is General knowledge and current affairs, perspectives in Education, Classroom implications of Educational Psychology, the methodology of the concerned subjects will be tested from present B.Ed. syllabus. The syllabus for the content part is from class VI to Intermediate of A.P. state syllabus.
